Programming is the service a museum provides to the public to help interpret their collections from the visitor’s point of view. Participants will learn how to enhance the range of opportunities museums offer to their communities. Topics covered will include audience research, customer service, planning, and evaluation. This course is the first in a series of pilot courses launched in the fall of 2021. This asynchronous course will run online from November 25 to December 17, 2021, with two recommended live, virtual meetings with instructor Natalie Zacharewski. The virtual meetings will take place on December 3 and December 13, 2021 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. The AMA is offering this course at a pilot rate of $100. This is in recognition that the course is a pilot and participants will be asked for additional evaluation and feedback about their experience with the virtual course.
